SSEA TRAVEL AWARDS FOR NON-NORTH AMERICAN MEMBERS FOR THE 2023 SAN DIEGO CONFERENCE

Dear SSEA International Membership:

For the last several in-person SSEA conferences, we have offered travel awards so that more people based outside North America could attend our conferences. We will provide a similar opportunity for the 11th Conference in San Diego, USA, in June 2023.

We will provide a limited number of travel awards to non-North American SSEA members. Travel awards will be given only to individuals who have submitted an abstract for presentation at SSEA. Travel awards will range from $250 to $2,000, depending on need and available funds. Membership in SSEA is required to apply for a travel award, and non-North American members from all categories are encouraged to apply (i.e. students, emerging scholars, and professionals). If you are not an SSEA member, please join today! SSEA provides discounted membership fees for many developing countries.

You will be asked to provide: Your name, position, department, and university; Your CV and research interests related to emerging adulthood; and a statement explaining how the travel award will assist you in attending the 2023 SSEA conference and how attending SSEA will help you to advance your career or your work.

The deadline for applying for SSEA travel awards is November 9, 2022. Award decisions will be made by December 19, 2022.
