Oana Negru-Subtirica is a senior lecturer at the Department of Psychology, Babes-Bolyai University, Cluj-Napoca, Romania. Her research focuses on the development of intentionality and agency in adolescence and emerging adulthood, from the perspective of identity formation, motivation, and goals. She employs quantitative, qualitative, and mixed methodologies to best capture the complexity of intentional pursuits. She is a founding member of the Society for the Study of Emerging Adulthood and national representative for Romania in the European Association for Research on Adolescence. She coordinates longitudinal and applied studies on identity formation, financed through Erasmus+, ERSTE Foundation, and UEFISCDI (www.adolescence.ro).
